The club was founded in 2007, prior to this Sensei Drozdzel instructed for 14 years in his club in Vegreville.

In April of 2016 Sensei Drozdzel received the rank Godan in Shito-Ryu Karate from Shihan Demura.

In addition to karate-do, Sensei Drozdzel also teaches Ryuku Kobudo (weaponry). He was promoted to Sandan in Kobudo in 2016.
